Alittle about Robert (R.J) Ravenhorst and how he became the sought after consultant GURU!

Make know mistake being good at your job is all uphill...
Recently, I was told, I have a great deal on my plate.... and I replied...

Well to be quit honest... I have created a a program that allows me to work remote from every corner of the planet. There are several programs that are in use that would be considered close to mine, But all but 1 is being utilized in the private sector as far as I am aware of.

I think I should tell you about myself...I spent the last 20+ yrs in research, I have had several hundred positions contract and/or employeeroles in that time, and from the get go, I started taking notes and forming programs for the proper process of business and the practises of managers etc. as well as bottom level employees alike, Inclusive to everything from Interior works, to steel building structures, unions, high end condo's development companies, Large land developments as a superintendent/project manager, Operations manager at The Eden Group of Companies and even a Vice president position of Alta-Trades Contracting Inc. Calgary Alberta Canada. NOW of course President of my own Company and thriving for it all. also inclusive of contractual obligations, union negotiations  and a hell of alot more "high risk" jobs then one man should be "lucky" enough to be a part of.

So what I sell at GWN Consulting group of companies is a better business plan all the way around. I have close to 3000 consultants we utilize for our business. So in short I guess your hiring thousands to replace ONE, in most cases.

You see, I had a very hard time in the middle management sector such as Superintendents role. Not at all to do with my abilities, as we all have short comings and in all honesty, I have had so many bad encounters within my career I don't really think theres much out there. But in most cases the answers is easy for a solution, the problem in most cases is the narrow mindedness of many Managers, The general thought on most construction sites is the Managers is the most informed... NOT at all true..You want answers GO to the men with the ongoing knowledge, I mean you hire contractors to do a job, But trust issues make you refrain from allowing him full acces to complete the job to his best abilities... and when a project stops or slows down, WHO is holding the bag, STOP being a prisioner to the one on your site calling the shots good or bad....I have seen several million get decided and wasted in 48 hours once... and when I stood up and said "I told you, as did several others"... I was no longer on the top of the ladder, just above the bottom I would say, WHY... Because on a project.. The military chain of command is golden,,, very true in U.S. Companies. However, I just could not help myself by telling the truth and honestly trying to find the most sencable way out of problem situations, when many were happy to see things go south, allowing extra work, usually at a preimum as to time infractions. I went out of my way to show that it could be done, and affordablie too, afew times touching on inapproprate possibly, thankfully I was correct, but truth be told most of you probably have several employee's that would a great fit, BUT could never see themselves in such cut throat circumstances, and after living my life> I can tell you exactly WHY!

I have become known in some construction and renewable circles a somewhat a guru of savings. and to be honest yet once more, I was told I was a cowboy on more than one occasion... And that bothers me none, as I feel accountability is what has decreased the worth of several large enviromentally friendly firms, in various sectors and has been a direct relection of the Management staff, and as a manager myself, things do get congested, and hard, but utilize your men, gess, theres 2 positives to doing your job corectly, you get your job done right, and you give them the respect that most companies just charge you for these days, not getting it the proper way.

In Construction in the last 10 yrs. or so.. I have successfully save my clients over 40 million in lost revenue. And that was just me, a lone.... now I am backed by the largest group of Independant sub-contractors and consultants probably worldwide.....

And I love the feeling of doing good for a change, so many meetings and arguments over who is to blame...no solution just loss of time and mental capicity, By the time I was 30 I was on BP med's, being told hypertesion will never leave me, 6 months after becoming a consultant and actually being able to solve the problems that seem so important to many to hide at any cost to you... I am know longer requiring such things in life, THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE!

Anyways, Thanks for your kind words, and remember the brain is a muscle like the rest of your human body, and as such has expanding capabilities unmatched if the right process is entered and proper respect is given to it.
